Position Title: Inside Sales/Rental Coordinator/Dispatch –  Gorham, NH, & Plymouth, MA

Reports to:  Branch Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

The Inside Sales Coordinator provides exceptional customer service in order to achieve rental, sales, and service revenue goals.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage new and existing customer accounts by managing customer expectations; resolves customer issues and concerns.
  • Develops new accounts by marketing company product lines and offering value-added services.
  • Receives and processes customer orders and serves as the customer’s primary point of contact.
  • Works closely with the Outside Sale Team to assist as needed.
  • Develops a referral network to assist in increasing the client base.
  • Assist in orienting customer on equipment and vehicles, if needed.
  • Completes Rental Agreements and contract timely and accurately.
  • Communicates with the service department regarding upcoming rental needs to ensure equipment is rent ready.
  • Dispatches and manages the day to day trucking needs.

Position Title: Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager – Springfield, MA, Boston, MA, & Augusta, ME

POSITION SUMMARY

The Outside Sales Representative/Account Manager is responsible for the sales and rental of light and heavy construction equipment within a defined geographic territory.  Outside Sales representatives are on the road every day, meeting with valued customers, visiting job sites and building relationships with key stakeholders.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, and networking throughout the community.
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and follow-up on referrals.
  • Regularly meet sales quotas and make conscious efforts to exceed sales quotas.
  • Works with the Credit Department to establish new accounts; assists customer in preparing and processing credit/financing arrangement paperwork.
  • Maximize all opportunities in the process of closing a sale and/or rental.
  • Consults and makes recommendations to prospects and clients on various sales and rental equipment, products and services.
  • Creates and conducts effective proposal presentations.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Class A Service Technician performs maintenance and repair of complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of rental and customer heavy equipment while using a high degree of independent judgement.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurate and timely completion of service documentation.
  • Trains technicians on repairs, maintenance, mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and diesel systems.
  • Order parts as necessary to complete repairs and maintenance of equipment.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Technician/Yard Support position is responsible for general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards, and maintaining a safe and hazard free workplace.  The Technician/Yard Support position inspects and performs all checkout and check-in procedures for equipment

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Reports equipment condition before and after usage.
  • Assists with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of equipment
  • Assists in loading and unloading of equipment as well as refueling machines upon return.
  • Delivers and picks up small equipment or supplies.
  • Appropriately documents check-in/check-out information.  Verifies fuel consumed and inspects all details of equipment.
  • Assists the Inside Sales Team in the selection of rental ready equipment for each transaction.
  • Greets and assists customers and delivery drivers in loading and unloading of equipment and provides general operating instructions on rental equipment.
  • Maintains equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with towing a trailer or other small towable equipment.
  • Basic mechanical skills to perform and/or recommend minor equipment repairs.

CDL Drivers must be able to maintain a current driver log via Electronic Logging Device (ELD) and confidently load and unload construction equipment consistent with Department of Transportation classification.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs pre-trip inspections; addresses any issues immediate.
  • Responsible for the delivery and pick up rental units.
  • Load and unload construction equipment; safely secure loads for transportation.
  • Fuels equipment and inspects for damage and tag accordingly upon rental return.
  • Completes accurate daily driving logs through use of electronic logging device (ELD).
  • Completes Daily Inspection Reports.
  • Documents equipment condition and damages using Record 360.
  • Obtains customer signature on rental contract and damage inspection sheet at time of delivery.
  • Responsible for keeping vehicle kept clean, organized and in proper working order.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
