Submersible Pumps for Construction Dewatering
When water collects in deep excavations, trenches, or foundation pits, submersible pumps are the go-to solution. Designed to sit directly in the water, these pumps push water upward instead of relying on suction—making them ideal for applications where lift and depth exceed the limits of surface pumps.
Submersible pumps are best suited for clean to lightly contaminated water and can handle a range of jobsite conditions, from small utility trenches to large commercial excavations. We rent 2″ and 3” discharge sizes, delivering approximately 50 to 240+ GPM depending on the model and head requirements.
All pump rentals include matching discharge and suction hoses.
Common applications include:
- Foundation and basement excavations
- Elevator pits and below-grade structures
- Deep utility trenches
- Infrastructure and roadwork projects
- Mining and large-scale site dewatering
By continuously removing standing water at the source, submersible pumps help maintain safe working conditions, prevent delays, and keep projects moving during wet conditions and mud season.
